A month ago I brewed 2-gallons of Diablo IPA with pecans and maple syrup. Just to let you know, after 30 days of fermentation, this is one of the best beers I’ve brewed! Look at that full-bodied head. The taste is spot on. By the way, I just ordered a four-pack from Mr. Beer. This should keep me busy throughout 2014: Dopplebock, Nutbrown Ale, Spiced Belgian Christmas Ale and Biere de Saison. Cheers!
One other thing on my schedule this weekend was bottling my current batch of homebrew beer. I brewed 2 gallons of Diablo IPA two weeks ago. It’s finished with primary fermentation and so it’s into the bottles with some sugar to prime the secondary fermentation!
Make beer is easy. It’s especially easy with the Mr. Beer kit. Here’s a step-by-step from a previous posting.
Another highlight from Saturday, my month-old batch of homebrew Aztec beer was ready to drink! It’ got that great Corona taste and is especially good with a slice of lemon.
Beer. ‘Nuff said.
