Steady as she goes, captain! I’ve been steadily shedding unwanted fat for almost two months now by following the simple recipes of Dr. Joel Fuhrman. Just like his book claims, “Lose 20 or more pounds in six weeks!” That’s exactly what happened in my case.
I apologize that I’m not posting many interesting recipes to our food blog these days. Instead, I’m eating oatmeal for breakfast, a large salad for lunch and a veggie stir fry (with at least a half-cup of beans or lentils) for dinner. That daily fare doesn’t exactly lend itself to a wide variety of photos!
But I’m working from home today, so I shot my salad in my studio. It’s filled with nuts, seeds, tempeh, veggies, romaine lettuce and a simple low-calorie dressing (no oil).
I have found that my portion sizes are shrinking because I get much fuller, faster. I had a tough time finishing this salad. In fact, I am finding that my portion size is now about a half what it was just a month ago. The funny thing is, I am feeling fully satiated. I don’t need snacks as much. When I do snack, it’s either a tangerine, banana or a handful of trail mix. I am feeling great!
