Last night I put a 1/2 cup of steel-cut oats in a pint of filtered water — in a mason jar — and covered it up. This morning, I poured the soaked oats into a saucepan and boiled it for 15 minutes. I added it to a half-pint mixture of seeds, nuts, ground flaxseed and cinnamon and a cup of frozen mixed berries. I love this breakfast! Soaking the oats makes all the difference in the world. The texture is so much better. Smooth!
199 pounds this morning. I’m counting calories and it’s paying off. I’m now staying south of 200. I’m wearing a size 32 pant size and my rings are too loose to wear! Think I’m getting too skinny? I’m okay with that.
