So you know, I make oatmeal every morning. Seriously I’ve done this for months now. It’s just what I do. I boil two cups of filtered water, add 1/2 cup of steel-cut oats (sometimes I soak them the night before), prepare a bowl full of berries, nuts and seeds and 25 minutes later, I’m in the studio shooting a photo of my breakfast! Doesn’t everybody do this? Okay, maybe just me. Anyway, it’s paying off. Oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch and soup or stir fry for dinner. I’m 198 pounds this morning. I’ve been below 200 for a couple of weeks (in the morning). My long runs have helped. I highly recommend MyFitnessPal as an app for your smartphone. It’ll keep you honest if you bother to keep the calorie diary!
