The best food is whole food. Natural plant-based ingredients with minimal processing are always the healthiest choice. That said. Have you heard of Gardein? Tonight I tried Teriyaki Chick’n Strips. In my two years as a vegan, I’ve avoided “fake” meats for the most part. However, eating something as tasty as Teriyaki Chick’n Strips is rare. This stuff is really good!
It’s certified vegan. Check out the ingredients: water, soy protein isolate, vital wheat gluten, expeller pressed canola oil, organic ancient grain flour, modified vegetable gum, yeast extract, potato starch, sea salt, organic cane sugar, natural flavors (from plant sources), color added, onion power, vinegar, garlic power, pea protein, spices, carrot fiber, beetroot fiber, extractive of paprika and turmeric!
My son, who is not a vegan, absolutely loved this dinner! I am definitely adding this to my weekly menu options. The taste, texture and 15 grams of protein per serving are a great addition to any meal!
